Welcome to Toney Elementary School! We are so excited to have you! Toney is located in the heart of South Dekalb County, Georgia near Candler Road. Toney has educated generations of neighborhood children in the surrounding community. The faculty and staff of Toney Elementary School are honored to serve our students and their families.  Our primary goals at TES are to deliver a rigorous instructional program, to encourage the academic achievement of all students, and to provide support to the members of our Toney Tiger Family.

Toney Elementary School is proud to pilot Positive Behavior and Intervention Support (PBIS).  PBIS is a data driven framework proven to reduce disciplinary incidents, increase a school's sense of safety, improve school climate, and support improved academic outcomes for all students at Toney.
 
At Toney Elementary School we have three PBIS Expectations for all Faculty, Staff and Students:

Be Respectful,
& Be a Team Player.
 
We are excited about the possibilities of PBIS to improve our school climate.  All Faculty, Staff, and Students are working hard to implement PBIS with consistency and fidelity.
